Are you an experienced Senior Sales professional and want to further build your career with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty Do you want to be a key member of our Taste & Wellbeing North Africa & Levant Commercial team and focus on the exciting Egypt market while being based in our 6th of October City office in Egypt Then this could be your future position!

We are currently looking to expand our Taste & Wellbeing Sales team in Egypt and have opened up a Key Account Manager role to provide more intimate support for our expanding customer base in Egypt and increasing market share for our key Taste & Wellbeing solution offerings across categories Beverages Savoury Sweet goods Snacks Dairy & Cheese and Nutraceuticals.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced senior Sales professional who can be an excellent addition to our creative and teamwork culture and preferably has a good knowledge of and network in the Egypt Flavour Food and Beverage sectors.

You will be based in our 6th of October City office in Egypt and report to the Taste & Wellbeing Commercial Director for North Africa & Levant. In this individual contributor role you will develop business plans targeting strategic customers in Egypt to provide them with gamechanging Taste & Wellbeing solutions and help achieve Givaudans purpose and commercial objectives in Egypt and the wider region.

In this exciting role you will help manage:

  • Develop and maintain our business: You will create new business opportunities and develop the project pipeline making the best use of Givaudans resources and capabilities to develop the most relevant commercial opportunities with customers.

  • Bring your passion and service our customers: You will partner with our customers R&D and Marketing teams understand their brand strategies positioning strengths and weaknesses and ensure Givaudan is wellpositioned to participate in briefs and is on core lists.

  • Position our products and solutions: You will monitor flavour trends competitive activity product developments and obtain insightful marketing data to support and nurture our business goals.

  • Impact the bottom line: You will develop key accounts and prospects on the ground follow up on customer submissions manage wins through to production and launch and deliver budgeted sales.

Your professional profile includes:

  • A Bachelors degree in Chemistry Food Technology Chemical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
  • 7 years of relevant experience in B2B Sales in Business Development or Key Account Management role(s) in international work environments preferably with companies in the Flavours Fragrances Food Beverage Ingredients FMCG Chemicals Industrial or Packaging sectors.
  • Prior experience in direct team leadership or team mentoring exposure will be advantageous.
  • A strong passion and appreciation for the world of flavours.
  • Good knowledge of customers competition and an existing network in Egypt will be ideal.
  • Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English and Arabic languages.
  • Excellent business and commercial knowledge.
  • Excellent presentation and project management skills.
  • Able to travel frequently within the Egypt market ( 3040% of your time).
