As a senior Tableau consultant the candidate is expected to have delivered at least 3 4 major projects in Tableau for global clients while possessing good SQL skills. Domain experience in at least one area including but not limited to CPG BFSI Services and Hospitality Manufacturing Automotive Telecom and Hightech. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must.
- Solid experience in building enterprise grade dashboards on Tableau aggregating data from multiple sources including cloud and onprem data warehouses
- Demonstrable experience in architecting and building modular dashboards with dynamic components for scalability and maintainability
- Ability to identify KPIs of importance from large datasets
- Conversant with data storytelling techniques
- Absolutely awesome with UI elements and UX design concepts. Ability to propose the right dashboard designs to business against their requirements which will involve rapidly transforming raw data into actionable insights using compelling charts and UI design elements
- Experience with dimensional modelling and creating data models. Ability to write and fine tune SQL queries as required. Ability to understand modify and write reasonably complex queries in SQL
- Experience with standard and cloud data sources including MS SQL Server Oracle DBMS Snowflake Postgres AWS Data Lake Amazon Redshift
- Experience in ETL / ELT tools like Informatica Azure Data Factory AWS Glue SSIS
- Some experience in data pipeline and workflow automation
- Good in creating user guides and handbooks. Ability to create Functional and Technical specification documents based on business requirements. Experienced in using collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Good understanding of Python scripts and data processing with the Pandas library will be an added advantage
- Work in an extremely Agile environment while interacting with senior stakeholders and leadership
- Ability to cope in a complex and fastchanging business environment and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations in a deadlinedriven situation
