- Identify business needs, software problems, and goals by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes.
- Understand and document current processes and flows for multiple systems and subsystems with user roles and privileges.
- Gather user and system requirements, document all findings in SRS document, PRD document, etc.
- Translate non-technical requirements into technical software specifications.
- Prepare, evaluate, and prioritize data mapping, diagrams, flowcharts, and alternative workflow solutions for engineers to follow.
- Coordinate with other functions (Product Management and Engineering) to produce software.
- Manage the set-up and configuration of systems.
- Validate results by testing software.
