Job Description

- Supervising activities within the accounting operations on daily basis including payables, receivables, expenditures, general ledger, fixed assets, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
- Implementing effective inspection and verification procedures to ensure accuracy and adequacy of accounting records and documentation and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Coordinating and monitoring book keepings containing debits and credits of in order to execute the year-end closing.
- Managing expenditures to ensure compliance set budget, as well as assisting in the design/ redesign of work processes to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Reviewing the transactions and reconciliations of accounts and resolving any inconsistencies or incongruities.
- Resolving any pending issues with the suppliers, vendors, service providers and clients, regarding their accounts and taking the required actions.
- Sufficient knowledge of Income-tax, sales tax, and all related laws in Jordan, and countries where group operates
