Job Title: Structural Inspection Engineer

JMS Group of companies employ 45 staff undertaking civil & structural engineering designs and has been serving the Construction Industry for over 25 years.JMS Group is part of the Structural Engineering Alliance Group (SEAG) a collective of esteemed engineering firms each distinguished in its respective field united by a shared vision of pioneering progress.
The Role:
We have an opening for a Structural Engineer to join our Structural Auditing Surveys (SAS) team Working alongside colleagues across the Group you will be part of a team undertaking Structural Inspections across the UK on structures as varied as those found at quarry sites (sand towers silo supports conveyor structures etc.) through to building facades for historic buildings as well as ongoing construction projects. Using custombuilt Apps the emphasis on the role is an experienced eye with the reporting largely undertaken by systemised software and the officebased team.

Main Responsibilities
- Undertaking site inspections either as a sole inspector or on larger sites as part of team
- Ownership of decision making
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in structural engineering design
- Full UK Driving licence
- Ability for travel and overnight stays
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK and be able to demonstrate proof when requested.
