JRG has a strong portfolio of work in the London & South England areas primarily with highend residential and commercial sectors.

We have an opening for a Structural Engineer to join our team at our Reading office to undertake designs on a variety of projects from small domestic extensions to large residential properties and office developments. Working alongside colleagues across SEAG you will be encouraged to develop your design experience and skills and be supported to obtain accreditation to the Institute of Structural Engineers.

With project costs up to 6m and the use of the latest design software the role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in impactful highvalue projects. A competitive salary of up to 40k will be offered commensurate with the importance of this role within our company.

Responsibilities:

• Use the latest design software to create and manage structural designs

• Liaise with key clients and discuss design/technical solutions with team members and stakeholders

• Prepare calculations drawings details specifications and reports for a wide range of structures and materials

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Masters degree preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
