An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Storeman to join the fast-growing Australian arm of an international group that is a global leader in the field of ventilation for underground mines, road and railway tunnels, and metro systems.

The company is part of a group that operates in over 80 countries on 5 continents. In Australia, the company has supplied the ventilation required for the construction and long-term operation of many of the nation s major underground transport infrastructure projects.


The key responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to the following):

  • General warehouse and workshop area maintenance and housekeeping
  • Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles
  • Day-to-day procurement and inventory management
  • Materials Receipt & Dispatch
  • Stacking shelves / racking with products
  • Keep production lines supplied and fill empty containers and packaging materials as needed
  • Keeping accurate records of purchase orders, receivables, dispatch, back-orders and outgoings in our ERP system
  • Picking, packing and unpacking pallets, small and large boxes, containers and large bulk packages of products
  • Assembling various types of material packages from a package list
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Participate in all assigned duties relating to the store development and planning program
  • Liaise with the Sales, Planning Department and Service Administrators in respect of dispatch, receiving of goods and delivery dates
  • Assisting in all areas of the warehouse, workshop and other duties as required for the operation of the business
  • Ensure warehouse, yard and working areas are kept clean and safe at all times


Qualifications & experience:

  • A strong focus on customer service
  • A strong commitment to OH&S and following policies and values
  • Must be physically fit & active to perform duties effectively
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills with good attention to detail
  • Well organised and ability to prioritize workloads and able to work to tight deadlines
  • The ability to work individually and work together in a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a positive "can do" attitude
  • Honest and Reliable
  • Previous experience in warehouse and despatch role or in a similar role highly regarded
  • An open and current Drivers License
  • A current forklift license (Desirable)
  • Certificates in Warehousing (Desirable)
  • The right to work within Australia
