Stock Clerk

A warehousing distribution center is looking for an organised and efficient stock clerk to join the growing business in Kempton Park.
As a stock clerk, you responsible to manage receiving, storing, and distributing of materials as well as maintain accurate records of inventory. To succeed this position candidate will ensure to be attentive, energetic, and hardworking.
Responsibilities

• Record inventory data manually on a computer
• Receive, count, and verify incoming orders
• Document discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts of stock
• Label stock items with labeling equipment such as identification tags or stamps
• Pack and unpack items for storage in stockrooms,
• Operate machinery for moving stock items
• Reportdamaged stock handling equipment to management
• Process shipping requests and purchase orders
• Prepare documents and reports for transactions

Requirements

• Minimum of six months' experience in stocking, shipping, logistics, or in similar field
• Grade 12 or Diplomapreferred
