Location: Cincinnati OH ( Hybrid )
FULL TIME

JW Labs is a startup inside JustWorks a billion dollar tech company out of NYC. They build an all in one suite hr suite to service companies of all sizes. Justworks has hundreds of employees. JW Labs has about 60 in all with about 4 in their new Cincinanti office. They have their own payroll culture office in NYC functions as their own company inside a larger stable and very successful tech unicorn

Job Description:
Working on their innovative payroll products with the team
Important note:
This person needs to be able to relo or willing to commute hybrid in office out of their Cincinnati office. They offer a relo bonus/stipend to assist with relo. This new office has about 4 people and is growing fast so that they can have alot of impact and growth trajectory here.
This is a backend software role. If you find someone who is strong in full stack thats fine but must be strong in Go/Golang on the backend
**Diversity hire is a plus!
Must haves:
Exp at tech company and/or startups
Must be strong (several years at least) working in Golang
Kubernetes is a plus
AWS Cloud is a plus
Great personality and communication skills
Mentorship is a plus
They can also process visas!
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional handson experience
- You have experience with data structures algorithms and objectoriented design and have used them to solve realworld problems
- You collaborate across engineering and product teams when you see opportunities for mutual benefit
- You face complexity with eagerness and confidence
- You thrive working with a team of diverse backgrounds and identities and you seek to bring out the best in your teammates
- You have experience working with serviceoriented architectures
- Experience in Java/Kotlin on Spring (preferred)
- Experience in React (preferred)
