Sr. Software Engineer (Java & C++)

• Define and develop software, participate in technical designs
  
• Provide technical guidance for junior members & proactively share information
  
• Understand product requirements, delivering tasks to meet the product release goal
  
• Translate requirements/vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards
  
• Eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse
  
• Support process improvements, guide the development, sustaining & support activities
  
• Work cross functionally with other business departments
  
• Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge
  
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality
  
• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
  
• Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them
  

Requirements

Mandatory - You must have these skills:

• Hands-on experience in Java and C++
  
• Experience developing with Linux OS
  
• Scripting knowledge, preferably Bash or Python
  
• Experience with development testing and creating Unit Tests
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  

Desired - Nice to have these skills:

• Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors or equivalent
  
• Experience with container orchestration systems (Docker/Kubernetes)
  
• Experience with software pipelines CI/CD
  
• Experience with cybersecurity development, such as secured communications, certificate management, encryption technologies, etc.
