Sr Java Backend Developer

• Design and develop APIs and scalable microservices for the cloud using Java (preferably Databricks)
• Responsible for designing and developing Java components using Spring framework to implement transaction management
• Good experience in building largescale software applications
• Work with product managers architects and other stakeholders to deliver product capabilities
• Develop test automation assets in a continuous integration and deployment environment
• Guide scalability and performance improvements
• Troubleshoot issues and provide fixes
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Develop features and enhancements from user stories
• Become a product expert in important areas to encourage higherquality development efforts
• Design and Build customerfacing web applications using our shared React component library

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
• Min 3 years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Java programming language OOPS (objectoriented programming) concepts
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring development teams
• Sound problemsolving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices
• Experience with Java frameworks and libraries (e.g. Spring Hibernate) is a plus

• Core Java (version 8 or higher) Spring/Spring Boot JPA Hibernate JWT Docker NoSQL/SQL Databases
• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Experience in either Maven Ant or Gradle
• Experience in AWS cloud or Databricks (preferably) and containerization using Docker
• Knowledge of UI frameworks Java and Application servers
• Proficiency with Git (Bitbucket GitHub Gitlab) is an advantage
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
• Nice to have: Experience in AWS services (EC2 ECS EFS RDS Lambda MSK) Kafka
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform database API caching layer proxies and other web services used in the system.
