Sr Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand data requirements and implement scalable solutions
• Design and develop efficient data pipelines for processing large volumes of data
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for maximum performance and scalability
• Implement and maintain ETL processes for data ingestion and transformation
• Create and maintain data architecture and documentation for easy access and understanding
• Ensure data quality and integrity through robust testing and validation processes
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support their data needs and enable datadriven decision making
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and tools in the data engineering space
• Contribute to the development of best practices standards and guidelines for data engineering
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in data engineering and architecture in a largescale environment
• Proficiency in SQL Python and other relevant programming languages
• Strong understanding of big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks
• Experience with data modeling data warehousing and data lake concepts
• Handson experience with cloud services such as AWS Azure or GCP
• Expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes
• Good understanding of data governance security and compliance requirements
• Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities
• Relevant certifications in data engineering and cloud platforms will be a plus
