- Manage both large scale testing projects and fast tracked bug fixes.
- Actively participate in creation of Test Plans and Quality Plans for the large software modules, and oversees the execution of these plans by other team members.
- Oversees the development of Test Cases and Test Scripts for the large software modules, and oversees the execution of these plans by other team members.
- Responsible for coordinating project deliverables for all SQA Test Management Teams.
- Liaison to work with all other departments to troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts on behalf of the SQA Department.
- Primarily responsible for ownership of projects from a QA standpoint.
- Managing the testing effort of all software releases from the development department.
- Managing the department’s documenting and tracking of all software defects.
- Reviewing and assisting in the creation of software documentation in conjunction with the subject matter experts.
- Recommendation and review of department policies and procedures related to source code integrity, testing procedures and implementation of software releases.
- Participate in the determination of installation instructions for software releases.
- Overall responsibility for all Quality Assurance Projects.
- Creation and Distribution of department reports.
- Go to person to answer questions about the department for the rest of the company.
- Responsible for personnel oversight of team’s work-related efforts and needs, including the preparation of probationary and annual employee reviews, approval of paid time off, daily employee schedule considerations, and approval of base work schedule requests as needed.
- Adhere to company policies.
- Conduct to reflect professional attitude and actions.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
