Job Description
Were looking for an experienced (middle/senior) Software Engineer to be part of an amazing project of one of our top pharmaceuticals clients.
In this role you will be a part of a team that designs develops and operates an Enterprise Knowledge Graph platform adopting data mesh architecture Semantic Web technologies and FAIR principles to improve the data management practices of the company. Using the platform internal customers build and consume knowledge graphs for drug discovery IT support clinical research data management chemical process development etc.
Main Tasks:
Integration of the platform with other internal IT systems such as Identity and Access Management (IAM) system Enterprise Data Catalogue etc.
Design and implementation of the selfservice interfaces of the platform so that users could do as much as possible by themselves.
Design and implementation of new components built inhouse or (in most of the cases) based on a product provided by an external vendor.
Toolchain: Openshift/Jenkins Terraform Confluence/Jira/Bitbucket AWS Cloud Grafana JetBrains IDEs (e.g. IntelliJ IDEA) Flask Python 3/Bash etc.
Requirements
Exp Design implement and maintain components of the platform in collaboration with the team and based on the inputs from the product owner.
Exp Implement and maintain automated acceptance tests to ensure a smooth and reliable release to production process.
Exp Support the system lead of the platform in the maintenance of SLC documents and the release process.
Knowledge of Python and its ecosystem as well as extensive experience e.g. youre able to design and implement a component utilizing multiple AWS services and integrations.
Handson experience with any of existing container solutions e.g. Docker.
Handson experience with AWS and specifically AWS Lambda AWS CloudWatch AWS EventBridge AWS EC2 AWS API Gateway AWS Batch.
Handson experience working in Linux ecosystem.
Experience in deploying applications on Kubernetes and/or Openshift and managing infrastructure with tools enabling infrastructureascode e.g. Terraform.
Good communication skills in explaining design options and implementation ideas to the team.
Experience and willingness to learn new technologies and tools without much external guidance.

Handson experience in web application development with Angular React or similar frameworks.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer
Knowledge of Semantic Web technologies and standards (RDF SPARQL etc.)
