We are seeking an experienced and talented Site Reliability Engineer to join the WebBeds Engineering As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will empower our users with a rich feature set, high availability & performance level to achieve their

Elements to this role include, but not limited to:
- Work with legacy applications and have an appetite to help transform it into modern
- Run the production environment by monitoring availability and system

- Measure and optimize system performance, pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and constantly innovating to

- Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release
- Working closely with developers, especially when issues arise to help with troubleshooting and provide consultation &
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity
- Create sustainable systems and services through automation and
- Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level
- Monitor critical applications and services to minimize downtime and ensure their
- Cross team collaboration across the full IT department & wider business as required to align on systems support &
The skills we would love to see in your suitcase
- Ideally around 3 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer
- Code experience in one of the following languages Go, C, C++, Rust, Python (other languages will be considered based on experience).
- A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance
- An eagerness to learn, develop & constantly improve with a flexible mindset & approach to
- Core interest in the Travel industry, with a passion for technology and expertise in this area although Travel industry experience is not
- Knowledge around cloud infrastructure in Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or
- Experienced using the Linux operative
- Experienced using containers (Docker, containerd), Kubernetes and popular tools within the ecosystem like ArgoCD with proficiency in networking gateways, NAT, routing tables, firewalls
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline (Nice to have but not essential).
