What you will do in this role:
- Maintains a professional appearance and attitude at all times. Promotes and works as a team player.
- Responsible for the use and functioning ability of the Axiom Artis Hemodynamic system.
- Knowledgeable of all procedures being performed in the Cath lab to include but not limited to the equipment needed for each stated procedure.
- Competent in each of the previous roles mentioned and the competencies are evaluated annually and documented on competency skill checklists.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the State of Texas
- 2+ years of experience working with cardiac patients (i.e. Telemetry area, C.C.U.), and/or in a critical care setting (Emergency Department, Surgical/Medical Intensive Care) *RECENT (within the last year of acute care experience required!!!)
- Previous experience in a Cath Lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures is Required!!!
- Bilingual communication abilities are preferred
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
- BSN
