Senior Test Automation Engineer [ R&D ]

Job Description

• Configure and creating test automation frameworks.
• Introduce automated functional and regression testing for web apps (backend and frontend).
• Plan how to cover the automation of the newly added feature.
• Design automation components or modules that can be leveraged across multiple test scripts.
• Support test automation framework, planning, and execution.
• Keep the quality of the testing scripts very high.
• Review tests quality and code standards written by the team.
• Lead and acting as a reference for a team of passionate software engineers.
• Write and execute test automation scripts and provide support during the issue resolution process.
• Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.

Job Requirements

What you MUST have:

• Experience in test automation (4 years at least),Selenium with ( Java )
• good software development skills in JavaScript.
• Excellent knowledge of running functional tests on the browser (Google Chrome Preferred).
• Experience writing Backend/API end-to-end tests.
• Experience in systems troubleshooting and debugging.
• Experience with Agile way of working / SCRUM.

What is nice to have:

• Experience in seeding/resetting databases (MySQL, Mongo, Snowflake, ...).
• Experience in working with docker (docker-compose is a huge plus).
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins is preferred).
• Experience with TypeScript.
• You love to work within a team more than working alone.
