Senior Software Engineer Test Automation - Lisbon

Position: Senior Software Engineer (Test Automation)

Location: hybrid remote in Lisbon Portugal

Employment type: Fulltime

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop robust test automation scripts to validate software functionality ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with product owners business analysts and other engineers to understand requirements and align automation efforts with project goals
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews and retrospectives to ensure efficient project execution.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 68 years of experience as a QA engineer Software Engineer in Test or Test Automation engineer
• Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as Automated UI testing Automated API testing and Testdriven development strategies
• Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as Serenity Cucumber and Selenium
• Proficiency in Java programming language
• Experience with SQL for data manipulation and validation
• Familiarity with unit testing libraries/frameworks code management tools (e.g. Git) and deployment tools (e.g. Jenkins).
