For our Client the fintech company based in Luxembourg we are currently looking for a

Senior Software Engineer

Contract: B2B or Contract of employment in case the candidate is located in Luxemburg

Responsibilities:

• Develop critical components of the collateral exchange platform.
• Utilize a modern tech stack that includes Kotlin Spring Boot ActiveMQ Gradle Ansible Docker and Corda.
• Improve the platform based on R3s Corda Distributed Ledger Technology.
• Interface with external systems using message queues and RPC.
• Ensure platform design meets clients security resilience and confidentiality needs.
• Support the Tech team onboarding new clients including IT due diligence assessments.
• Participate in an oncall rota to monitor the production system.
• Work in an agile environment with geographically distributed teams.

Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Computer Science.
• Solid computer science fundamentals databases concurrency security and networking knowledge.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering with Kotlin Java or other JVM targeting languages.
• Experience in building software products on a significant scale.
• Proactive critical thinking interpersonal skills technological analysis and research.
• Ability to work in a dynamic challenging environment; adapt quickly to change
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with functional programming.
• Knowledge of Blockchain or Distributed Ledger Technologies such as Corda Hyperledger Fabric Ethereum
• Experience with relational database management systems messages queues and Public Key Infrastructure.
• French language
