Position:

Senior Software developer Delphi

To support this undertaking we are looking to strengthen our agile teams with an experienced Delphi developer whose responsibilities will be establishing and deploying an environment for developing continually improving and securely operating software and systems products and services leveraging on the Delphi development language.

Role & Responsibility:

• Deploying and using applications in various environment with the people and teams that are responsible for all systems and software life cycle engineering
• Building repeatable and reliable capabilities through a process of trial feedback learning and continual evolution.
• Adapting working practices to the needs of specific products and services.
• Defining controlling and improving software life cycle processes.
• Maximising the automation of activities
• Focusing on mission value and customers
• Establishing a culture of collaboration learning knowledge management adaptation and Resilience.
• Adopting and integrating appropriate industry frameworks to guide improvements

Among your responsibilities:

• You develop extend maintain and monitor applications within the domain.
• Prepares design options for the working environment of methods procedures techniques tools and people.
• Works with others to integrate organisational policies standards and techniques across
• the full software and systems life cycle.
• You automate testing in all its forms in order to increase both code quality and application reliability i.e. Unittesting integration testing endtoend testing etc.
• You write maintainable documentation for both existing software and new developments.
• You collaborate with domain experts and business analysts in extracting requirements
• from user and business requests.
• You participate in design discussions (high and lowlevel) regarding application transformations as well as greenfield development.
• You start initiatives to improve development processes testing operational management and infrastructure.
• You help set up interteam communication channels for coordination regarding API
• changes deployments bugs etc.

Experience

• You have at least 10 years of practical experience in Delphi development with recent
• version (Tokyo) and older version.
• You have at least 10 years of practical experience in TSQL development (SQL scripts /
• Stored Procedures)
• You are familiar with relation databases and mainly with MS SQL Server
• You are committed in delivering quality software using best practices of Unit Testing
• You are familiar with versioning tooling (for instance Git) and with versioning flow best
• practices
• You are familiar with CD/CI flow (Azure pipeline)

Education & SoftSkills

• You must possess at least a bachelors degree in computer science or an ITrelated discipline. Certifications are a plus.
• You are fluent in both spoken and written English.
• You know industry best practices and have experience with software systems.
• You can work independently but are also a team player.
• You have good presentation and reportwriting skills.
• You are fluent in both spoken and written English.

• You are active dynamic and assertive and are not afraid of being challenge driven
• You have realworld experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum
