Senior SEO Strategist Position at EDGY
Position Overview:
The Senior SEO Strategist serves as a pivotal member of our team specializing in the development and execution of comprehensive SEO strategies for our clients. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including keyword research competitive and market analysis as well as opportunity identification. A significant component of this position involves utilizing technical expertise to address SEOrelated issues pertaining to web technologies. Additionally this role is clientfacing necessitating effective communication of SEO strategies to clients.
Background Requirements:
Experience in SEO web development or data analytics.
Some programming experience related to web technologies or analytics platforms.
Qualifications and Soft Skills:
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills in both writing and speaking.
Proficient in client presentations.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team.
Capable of meeting tight deadlines and performing well under pressure.
Availability during U.S. Central Time business hours.
High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HTML5 particularly semantic HTML.
Skilled in CSS and JavaScript.
Knowledge of general SEO best practices and strong technical SEO skills.
Ability to conduct page performance audits using Chrome DevTools.
Experienced in using SEO tools such as Screaming Frog Ahrefs Google Search Console and SEMRush.
Competent in building clientfacing executive reports and tracking client KPIs.
Experience with data analytics report suites/dashboards using tools like Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
Knowledgeable in Schema.org markup and implementation site architecture recommendations internationalization issues (e.g. hreflang) and canonicalization.
Insight into page indexation.
Industry experience in Automotive.
Preferred Skills:
Intermediate to expert level knowledge of Adobe Analytics.
Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento).
Experience with Agile/Scrum ticketing tools such as Jira/Confluence Asana or Azure DevOps.
Understanding of PPC and other SEM channels.
Programming skills in Python and R.
Experience with AI prompt building.
Role Responsibilities:
Acting as a primary SEO expert and advocate both within the team and in client interactions.
Leading SEO initiatives to align with business objectives and drive SERP visibility and prominence.
Contributing to the overall growth and profitability by spearheading strategic initiatives and supporting crossfunctional projects.
