Senior Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates by analyzing project drawings specifications and other documentation.
  
• Create competitive bid proposals outlining project costs timelines and deliverables for client submission.
  
• Analyze market trends for labor material and equipment costs to ensure estimates align with current conditions.
  
• Work closely with engineering procurement and project management teams to align estimation with technical requirements.
  
• Identify potential risks in project costs and timelines developing mitigation strategies to minimize financial impact.
  
• Suggest costeffective alternatives or value engineering measures to improve project profitability.
  
• Compile detailed cost reports comparing estimated vs. actual costs to highlight deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotes for accuracy providing negotiation support where required.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in estimation preferably within engineering or construction.
  
• Certifications in cost estimation or project management are a plus.
  
• Thorough understanding of engineering concepts construction methodologies and material specifications.
  
• Strong problemsolving skills to create accurate and competitive estimates.
  
• Clear verbal and written communication for liaising with clients and internal stakeholders.
  
• Efficient multitasking to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks within deadlines.
  
• Ability to lead estimation teams and mentor junior engineers.
