We are hiring a Senior Respiratory Physiologist for a Private Hospital in Cork Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Proficient in performing a comprehensive array of routine pulmonary function tests such as spirometry reversibility testing diffusion capacity assessments and static lung volume measurements
- Experienced in conducting specialized pulmonary function tests including inhalation challenge tests.
- Expertise to independently conduct and analyze a wide range of sleep studies such as Full Polysomnography Limited Sleep studies Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT) and Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) titrations.
- Possess strong computer skills that are essential for accurately recording and interpreting test results.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold a degree in Physiologist/Clinical Measurement that is recognized by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS) or possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology or an equivalent qualification approved by the IICMS.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Respiratory Physiologist.
- Enthusiastic competent hardworking and eager to expand their skill set.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential
- Previous experience working in a Respiratory Laboratory and will be familiar with the setup and analysis of full diagnostic polysomnography tests.
