We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to support project goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with proven experience in working with large datasets and using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI for data analysis. As a Senior Project Analyst, your role will include supporting key client projects across various capabilities, including project financials, resource management, and dependency tracking.

In this role, you will coordinate and assist in delivering key project components while ensuring synergy with clients and Agile Management Office (AMO) team members. Your expertise in specific areas of project management and PMO operations will enable you to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Reporting & Analysis:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support project and program objectives.
  • Conduct industry and market research and analysis.
  • Continuously analyze data to suggest improvements to initiatives and processes.
  • Develop accurate and reliable reports for management decision-making, adhering to PMO reporting requirements.

Project Management:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying risks and issues that may impact the project.
  • Assist with developing and tracking project management processes to ensure activities align with established governance.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and strategies addressing project challenges.
  • Liaise with system vendors and external consultants for process troubleshooting and evaluating new products and processes.
  • Assist in developing project communications, including PowerPoint decks, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and MS Project schedules.
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise to the project community.
  • Act as a champion and role model for AMO delivery.

Compliance & Governance:

  • Communicate policies and messages to program teams.
  • Adhere to governance requirements, frameworks, and quality assurance standards for projects.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Collaborate with key users to specify improvements to existing automated business processes and systems.
  • Document new or revised procedures or workflows.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with large datasets and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
  • Familiarity with database management tools is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience using various project management methodologies, including Agile, PMBOK, and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders and produce clear, meaningful reports.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in a project analyst or similar role working on projects and programs.
  • Knowledge and experience in complex, immature environments.
