Senior Procurement Officer

- Responsible for the perfect implementation of the procurement procedure by procurement staff.

- Responsible for following up with procurement staff on daily bases to make sure that all requests are procured on time.

- In collaboration with the Logistics Specialist, distribute the requisitions sent by the requesters to the procurement staff according to the workload.

- Fills out the Bid Summaries, Comparison charts, Waivers and Purchase orders. Submits them to his supervisor. Requests her supervisor to issue memos in case a waiver is used.

- Independent and self-sufficient, requests the quotes on the national market. She transfers the file to his supervisor for international quotes.

- Asks for signatures as per the procurement procedure.

- Knows the local market and available suppliers. Selects the best suppliers to request quotes from as per price and quality.

- Performs market survey every six months across Jordan. Selects the best suppliers to request quotes from as per price and quality.
