Job Description

Our Baton Rouge area client is seeking a Sr. Process/Project Engineer who will

  • be responsible for providing process and technical expertise on continuous and batch processes and developing practical solutions to processrelated problems
  • establish and maintain productive working relationships with production engineers supervisors R&D and maintenance.
  • travel around 10% of the time to other plant locations include Georgia California Ohio Illinois Michigan Pennsylvania and Washington State.
  • Base salary $120 150k bonus benefits relocation continued career advancement opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • 8 years of related experience in engineering design of chemical plants including handson troubleshooting experience.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of piping and equipment codes product safety standards etc.
  • Working knowledge of PLC and DCS control systems.
  • Motivated and resultsoriented individual.
  • Handson doer. A participative engineering style and selfstarter.
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
