Job Description
Skyloov Property Portal is a real estate leading platform based in Dubai, UAE. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer that have both experience with pure PHP and Laravel framework to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications while focusing on micro-services architecture, communication protocols, and server-side optimization.
Tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient code.
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel framework.
- Implement micro-services architecture, ensuring seamless communication between different services.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems using protocols like REST and gRPC.
- Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on choosing the right communication protocols and architectural patterns.
- Optimize server-side performance and scalability, ensuring smooth and responsive user experiences.
- Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks, bugs, and other performance-related issues.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to micro services, communication protocols, and server-side optimization.
- Have an experience with agile methodology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a PHP Laravel Developer in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of micro services architecture and hands-on experience with designing and implementing micro services.
- Proficiency in communication protocols like REST and gRPC, with the ability to choose the appropriate protocol based on project requirements.
- Technical background in server-side optimization, performance tuning, and caching strategies.
- Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL databases) and their integration with web applications.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their interaction with back-end services.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Solid experience in unit testing and docker for containerisation.
- experience with laravel filament could be a plus.
