Job Description
Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design build and release software products in multiple programming languages frameworks and libraries. Always collaborating with crossfunctional project teams our developers are adaptable problemsolvers with a clientoriented mindset.
As a Senior Golang Developer at Endava you will design develop and maintain highperformance applications using Golang. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and launch new features. Write clean efficient code and ensure top performance quality and responsiveness of applications. Your role includes identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks fixing bugs conducting code reviews and enhancing coding standards. You will develop backend components for web applications and integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic. Key skills required are strong proficiency in Golang experience with concurrency and parallel processing web development RESTful APIs and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. Strong problemsolving debugging communication and collaboration skills are highly valued.
- Designs estimates and implements technical solutions for medium/high complexity applications.
- Participates actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle.
- Collaborates with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements processes architecture and priorities.
- Recommends and promotes IT industry standards tools and practices (DevOps etc.) to achieve wellengineered software products.
- Proposes improvements and escalates risks/issues related to development activities.
- Participates in the review of the work done by development team members.
- Learns and applies new technologies practices and tools as appropriate to the project.
- Participates in internal and external tech communities events etc.
- Shares experience and knowledge gained from projects.
Qualifications :
- At least 45 years of experience working with the Go programming language
- Strong written and communication skills with proven fluency in English
- Popular Revel Router packages such as Gorilla Mux are examples of Go web frameworks
- Good understanding of version control systems like Git or similar
- Solid experience with testing and mocking frameworks
- Understanding of Go Routine and Channel patterns
- Capability to write compelling and tidy Godoc comments
- The templating language of Go
- Godep Sltr and other dependency management tools
- Experience with Stringer Gos code generation tools
- Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM KANBAN).
- Good problemsolving skills and analytical thinking.
It would be very valuable if the candidate has experience in PAYMENTS
