- o Support Country and Cluster offices to set up best monitoring and evaluation practice and to support quality programming and accountability standards, as requested;
- Provide technical support in the development andor finalization of emergency and develop plans to insure M&E activities are properly planned and budgeted for
- Review the quality of existing data in the project subject areas, the methods of collecting it, and the degree to which it will provide good baseline statistics for impact evaluationo Promote innovative data collection and management;
- Take part in DREF monitoring and lessons learned missions;
- Provide technical review and support to ensure that cross cutting issues such as participation, gender, age and disability are effectively addressed mainstreamed in all project implementations as part of ensuring accountability according to IFRC standards
