RESPONSIBILITY AUTHORITY AND COMPETENCE

The Operations Manager is responsible for supervision and management of trainees workmen staff & contract laborers facilitating interdepartmental communication and allocating tasks (daily weekly & monthly) and resources as needed to efficiently and effectively run the manufacturing operations at the One Stop Center . Manages the maintenance of the buildings grounds equipment and facilities adhering to pertinent rules regulations & local laws.

The specific duties of an Operations Manager include formulating strategy improving performance production planning & control procuring material and resources and securing compliance.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership for the successful operation of the manufacturing plant including:
Production quality control maintenance and receiving.
Establish and review production schedules for all manufacturing departments to ensure orders are filled on time while operating at the highest efficiency possible
Motivate Employees to maintain production and quality levels by establishing measures of tracking performance and setting individual employee and team goals
Monitor processes operation expenses and research ways to cut waste improve efficiencies and enhance productivity while maintaining product quality
Work closely with Quality Assurance personnel to review product consistency in order to determine areas of improvement Work with product development personnel to develop new products and strategies
Maintain efficient Inventory levels to meet daily productions needs and cost requirements
Analyze work force requirements
Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all manufacturing employees ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed
Monitor equipment to ensure that it is meticulously cared for and always in good working order to avoid lapses in production

Production Planning & Control
Overall responsibility for execution of the job on schedule
Liaison / Correspondence with sales purchase and customer / consultant to ensure smooth execution
Assigning planning engineer for each project and assigning job number for identification
Preparationofadetailedprocessplanandotherdocumentsasperprocedureandreviewandget approvals of the same
Responsible for arranging a kick off meeting with the functional heads / incharges production quality assurance and purchase to handover /communicate the scope of work delivery and any other relevant information regarding the project
Preparation of monthly delay bar charts and analysis of reasons for delay for submission to the Director / Management
Analysis of the delay bar charts and take corrective / preventive actions to ensure timely delivery of equipment

ISO
Implementation & maintenance of Quality System within their function
To control documents related to the Quality System within their functions
To monitor and ensure implementation of corrective & preventive Actions
To Control Quality records related to Quality System of their functions
To Cooperate during Internal Quality Audits
To identify Training need for personnel within their functions
To Participate in Management Review Meetings.
Initiate action to prevent occurrences of Nonconformity
To initiate recommend or provide solutions in corrective and preventive Action committee meetings
Verifications of implementation of solutions within their functions and to subsequently monitor the effectiveness.

AUTHORITY:
Payment Authorization
Check payment authorizations from projects & stores with the PO
Checking the commercial values of the PO and WO
Prepare payment authorization relating to the accounts department
Vendor check payment
Preparing funds statement and reporting to management
Petty cash management and proper disbursement
New petty cash voucher to be adhered to
