- Job Description: The Senior Group Manager CA(SA) at Truworths will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the company ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the overall business objectives.
- Managing the financial reporting process and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.
- Leading the finance team and providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.
- Maintaining strong internal controls and risk management practices within the finance function.
- Working closely with the CEO and other senior executives to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Collaborating with external auditors tax advisors and other financial service providers.
- Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with a relevant degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior financial management role.
- Experience in the retail industry or related sector is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of leading successful financial initiatives and projects.
- Salary & Benefits:
- Annual salary in Rand (R) based on experience and qualifications.
