Senior Frontend Engineer (f/m/d) - Platform

At xChange we are seeking an enthusiastic, tech-savvy Senior Frontend Engineer for our Platform team who is passionate about building amazing products that have a big impact in the world together with a team of motivated colleagues.

Our Platform team is responsible for the seamless interaction part on our xChange platform, building features and functionalities which ultimately bridge the gap between our products in terms of navigation, global search, functional processes etc. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will create, audit and maintain our frontend to maximize the user experience, while ensuring a fast performing and highly responsive web application.

Our Tech team is the backbone of xChange, developing highly scalable products to not only disrupt a whole industry but to set a new standard when operating containers worldwide. Hence, you will be joining a highly collaborative agile team with skilled customer-focused colleagues who strive for the best code quality, highest tech standards and the drive to push xChange's product forward.

Your tasks

• Create and implement high-priority features that match our current architecture
• Keep proven features up to date, identify technical debts and suggest solutions
• Support your team with your expertise to achieve the best outcome
• Optimize our current processes for coding and challenge our toolset and architecture
• Share your tech and business knowledge proactively to drive the success of xChange and our Tech teams

Requirements

Your profile

• Solid and proven experience as a Frontend Engineer with a focus on web applications
• Excellent coding skills paired with hands-on experience in Angular 2+, HTML, CSS & JavaScript
• Deep understanding of development processes and best practises you strive for efficient processes, highest code quality and tech standards
• A great team player with excellent communication skills (in English) you know how to share your knowledge and communicate clearly
• High personal drive and confidence in what you do you can stand your ground in a discussion and feel comfortable taking initiative
