With foodfittery, we are revolutionizing the world of recipes!
We have built the first app in which the recipes adapt to the very individual preferences of our users and not vice versa. Whether classic, vegan, vegetarian, with ingredients you still have at home or for intolerances. Thanks to the modular recipe structure, there is always an individually suitable recipe for everyone. In this way, we want to make it easy for our users to eat more individually, consciously and healthily and to avoid food waste. With our interdisciplinary team of software developers, designers and professional chefs, we have developed a unique and scalable technology that can automatically generate a wide range of recipe variants from recipe modules - always delicious and in professional quality.
For our growing team, we are looking for an ambitious Senior Flutter Developer (m/f/x) to help shape the future of foodfittery, working in a highly cross-functional and agile environment. Your focus will be to help define, build and maintain existing mobile features across our mobile platform.
Tasks
- Together with our external product engineering team, you work on building and maintaining our mobile platforms and consistently ship small features and improvements
- You will contribute to the development of our mobile infrastructure - there will be technical challenges all day every day and you will have the freedom to innovate and adopt new ideas
- You'll have the opportunity to work in a cross-functional, agile team with product managers, engineers and designers
- You will communicate with technical and non-technical teammates to help clarify and solve complex problems
- You will work and grow with a team of passionate experts around you
Requirements
- Knowledge and practical experience with mobile development using Flutter in Android and iOS.
- Strong proficiency in Flutter and the Dart programming language.
- Proficiency in mobile app development concepts, architecture patterns, and best practices.
- Experience in Object-Oriented Design, Domain-Driven Design is a plus.
- Experience implementing state management solutions in Flutter (e.g., Provider, BLoC, Riverpod).
- Experience with Test-Driven Development and writing integration tests for Flutter applications.
- Experience in the IoT field and building great product-service experiences.
- Experience in conceptualizing and building software architecture, including SDKs.
- Proficiency in native Android and iOS code (Kotlin/Java for Android, Swift for iOS).
- Knowledge of mobile app publishing process and submission guidelines for app stores (e.g., Google Play Store, Apple App Store).
- Experience with modern mobile tooling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and optimize application performance.
- Experience working with cross-functional agile teams.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results.
- Result-oriented and self-motivated creative thinker who works independently and is highly structured.
- Enjoy working in cross-functional teams and collaborating throughout an agile development process.
- Enjoying good food and being inspired by it as a topic.
- Ability to work in English and/or German.
- Ideally based in the Munich area, but not mandatory.
