Job Description

As a Senior External Auditor you will play a pivotal role in our client s organization dedicated to assisting and supporting a portfolio of stakeholders within the Audit Division. Your primary responsibility is to execute tasks and services as directed by your supervisors all while striving to develop a high level of technical competence.

Employment Type: Fulltime
Shift: Day Shift
Work Setup: Hybrid Ortigas/Baguio City
Salary: PHP 50000 to PHP 65000

What do you need to succeed
  • Possession of a degree in Finance Accounting or Commerce; Preferably holding certification as a Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor.
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of external accounting experience in a reputable firm.

  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times and treat clients prospects referral sources and colleagues with the same respect one expects to receive.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities including supervising the existing Makati team and reporting on the performance and productivity of the Philippines team to Hall Chadwick WA staff.
  • Achieve the productive hours budget.
  • Complete assigned tasks as directed by senior staff members.
  • Follow up on and resolve queries related to personal work sections.
  • Collaborate with the manager to schedule audit visits.
  • Plan and prepare the audit approach in consultation with the client partner and when necessary the manager.
  • Execute the audit work as planned.
  • Discuss audit issues with manager/partner and coordinate with the client on these matters.
  • Finalize the audit file for partner review.
  • Address all partner/manager review points.
  • Draft correspondence on issues related to individual audits.
  • Monitor audit costs in reference to budgeted fees for individual audits.
  • Prepare fees for completed work.
  • Maintain effective communication with managers and peers while taking responsibility for communication within their area of control.
  • Develop positive interpersonal skills and build cooperative working relationships with others considering their needs.
  • Provide quality client service to both external and internal clients.
  • Develop problemsolving and decisionmaking skills making timely and effective decisions with an awareness of their impact.
  • Demonstrate professional and technical competence within their area of responsibility updating skills as needed.
  • Proactively plan and organize tasks anticipating needs and using a systematic and time managementfocused approach.
  • Foster client satisfaction through effective working relationships and a genuine interest in client work.
  • Exhibit professional competence and technical development confidently handling delegated tasks and addressing budget or time constraint issues appropriately.
  • Pursue personal development through continuous education research and participation in internal/external training sessions.
  • Contribute to productivity improvements and be aware of other internal service offerings.
  • Maintain professional conduct in the office and with clients emphasizing punctuality and minimizing absences.
