Job Purpose
To provide credit risk analysis expertise to the Wholesale Banking Europe team in support of the Banks commercial activity in all product lines and with all types of counterparty
Job Context
Close support to be provided to the business in order to evaluate and assess all types of risk (both financial and nonfinancial) towards the development of new corporate client relationships Adherence to Risk Management policy and regulatory requirements Close liaison with Risk Legal and Compliance in the fulfilment of duties
The team operates in a challenging and pressurized environment in the middle of the WBE team Requests from Relationship Managers often working within short timeframes with established external deadlines for approval The Senior Credit Analyst holds detailed knowledge of the banks Credit Risk Policies and Procedures and will from timetotime question internal requirements with the relevant stakeholders if the proposal does not fit the banks risk appetite/credit policies
Responsibilities Accountabilities & Deliverables
To undertake in a timely manner the preparation and submission of Credit Applications (CAFs) for new business proposals and annual reviews assisting and advising as required other Department members involved in such CAF preparations
To support the Head of Client Credit Management in respect of the team and in adhoc riskrelated special tasks and projects
