Senior Backend Developer mfd - Remote Europe

As a young company based in beautiful Berlin we are on a mission to transform how absence and healthcare management is handled in companies. We provide our customers with an innovative data platform to measure and reduce their employee absence rates and are passionate about improving peoples health. Since our founding in 2021 our team has grown continuously and we have big plans ahead. As we expand our impact were in search of a Senior Backend Developer to champion our mission
remotely from anywhere in Europe.

Tasks

• Drive the development of our backend systems ensuring high
  performance responsiveness and scalability. to build robust secure
  and efficient backend services
• Collaborate in a crossfunctional team to define design and
  ship new features and services
• Participate in code reviews and ensure the highest code quality
  and system security standards
• Analyze and improve efficiency scalability and stability of
  various system resources
• Implement best practices and maintain security for handling
  sensitive health data ensuring user trust and compliance

Requirements

• 35 years of experience with PHP and indepth knowledge of Active
  Record and Eloquent ORM
• Proven track record of developing and managing hightraffic
  backend systems
• Understanding of Databases and their Security
• Strong understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g.
  HTTP cookies headers asset loading/caching) and a broad knowledge of
  the web development space
• A can do Mentality with the ability to work independently and
  in a remote team environment
• Excellent problemsolving skills and a passion for innovation and
  continuous improvement
• You are fluent in English What would be a plus:
• Familiarity with frontend languages (like HTML JavaScript and CSS)
• Experience in German Career Progression and Expectations:
• First Month: Dive into understanding our system with a handson
  approach. Youll start by learning the ins and outs of our platform
  through pair programming sessions with our existing backend developer
  and implement your first feature setting the foundation for your growth
  in our team.
• After Three Months: Shift focus towards the professionalization
  of our platform. Youll be encouraged to experiment with new ideas
  enhance system capabilities and contribute to the strategic development
  of our services.
• After Six Months: youre driving the development team towards new
  milestones. You lead our development efforts contribute significantly
  to our growth strategy and help shape the future direction of our
  technology.
