Security Operations

- Providing surge support to the FSRM offices in areas related to: emergency, Crisis Management, backstopping capacity gaps and interim security management; - Through her/his visits to the Field, and in collaboration with the Senior/Field security Officers ensuring that UNRWA’s internal Security risk management is context specific and aligned with the operational realities on the ground; s/he identifying lessons learned and best practices to be integrated into the planning cycle, the training packages and the security risk management ‘Best Practice’ guide; - Supporting the Director and the Chief of Security Operations and Analysis in the development and implementation of a standardized and ‘light’ system to conduct security and risk assessments across the Agency as well as in the development of the DSRM crisis management support response guide; - Identifying and supporting in the implementation of community-based security projects;
