Join the team of our client in the shipbuilding industry team as a Section Builder. Contribute to the construction of ship sections using supplied building kits ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship. From preprocessing and customizing sheet metal to burning grinding and assembling workpieces you will play a key role in the creation of worldclass naval structures.
Responsibilities:
- Independently interpret drawings and parts lists to execute tasks accurately.
- Preprocess and customize plates and profiles for section building.
- Perform burning and grinding operations to shape and refine materials.
- Assemble preproessed materiales into workpieces ensuring precision.
- Provide weld reinforcements to prevent deformation.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless workflow and achieve project milestones.
Requirements
- Demontrated ability to work independently based on drawings and parts lists.
- Relevant work experience.
- Experience with different welding processes (FCAW and electric welding).
- VCA Diploma (can also be obtained in the Netherlands if the person speaks Dutch English Turkish Arabic or any other EU language).
