Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging science lesson plans that align with the curriculum
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to actively engage students in learning
• Assess and monitor student progress providing appropriate feedback and support

• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. science education)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching science at the primary or secondary level
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum for science
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passion for science education and a commitment to student success
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture
