Sanitation Technology Engineer

• Leverage your expertise in architectural design and technical drawings to craft innovative solutions that redefine sanitation standards.
  
• Develop comprehensive blueprints and technical standards (e.g. SOPs) to guide the consistent implementation of sanitation technologies and innovations across projects.
  
• Translate concepts into detailed plans and specifications.
  

• Provide supervision for onsite implementation of sanitation facilities ensuring progress monitoring quality assurance and adherence to timelines specifications and highest standards.
  
• Conduct regular site visits to assess ongoing work address issues and manage field inventory and human resources effectively.
  

• Lead research and development efforts to stay abreast of industry advancements and integrate them into our sanitation solutions.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and new technologies to enhance sanitation systems.
  

• Facilitate training and capacitybuilding initiatives to enhance the skill set of the team and partners when required in sanitation technologies.
  Conduct workshops seminars and knowledgesharing sessions to promote expertise development when required.
  

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to maintain alignment with specifications guidelines and project objectives.
  
• Provide technical expertise in discussions with clients partners and regulatory bodies.
  

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be required to contribute to the success of the organization.
  

Requirements

• Relevant academic background in Architecture Civil Engineering or related field is valued but we also recognize the importance of handson expertise.
  
• Relevant certifications in sanitation or related fields are a plus but your practical experience is equally valuable.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of proven practical experience in sanitation technology development architectural design and implementation with a track record of successful project delivery.
  
• Proficiency in architectural design software and technical drawing tools (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks and SketchUp or equivalent).
  
• Strong knowledge of biodigester technology and related systems.
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to architectural and technical excellence.
  
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to sanitation technologies.
  
• Effective communication and collaborative skills and ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams.
  
• Problemsolving mindset and adaptability in dynamic environments.
