Our client; a fast-growing agribusiness company serving agricultural produce across the continents of Africa & Asia.
Apart from Agribusiness, they have a strong hold into Metal/ Minerals and Coal business.
Their well-established and committed team is proud to work towards a common purpose everyday establishing a sustainable supply chain, in global commodity trading while distributing the Agricultural produce: Efficiently & Responsibly.
They are looking for a highly focused and detail-oriented AM- Logistics and operations to ensure smooth and timely movement of cargo with minimal possible loss/ damage. The role requires the person to take complete accountability of the domestic logistics and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring Timely and accurate pre/ post shipment documentation.
2. Ensuring proper quality checks, Packaging and warehousing done for the concerned goods.
3. Liaising with Government bodies, Customs for smooth movement/ clearance of goods.
4. Inter Dept Coordination Regarding Shipments.
5. Nominating and coordinating with Freight Forwarders/Shipping Lines/ CHA for smooth logistics of cargo imported or exported from Nigeria
6. Maintaining monthly MIS
7. Monthly / weekly dispatch planning and inventory planning.
8. Taking care about Export/Import Incentives & License formalities
9. Maintaining updates in ERP
Skills:
Technical: Export/ Import Documentation, Trade Compliance, Sound knowledge on Exim
Policy/ LC Documentation.
Soft Skills:
Eye to detail, Interpersonal skills,
