Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced RV Service Technician to join their team and provide top-notch service to their valued customers. As an RV Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:

Performing routine maintenance and complex repairs on various RV systems and components, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, awnings, slide-outs, leveling systems, and more.
Conducting thorough diagnostic tests to identify issues and malfunctions, ensuring accurate and efficient problem-solving.
Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical problems promptly to minimize downtime and optimize customer satisfaction.
Interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their concerns, explaining repairs, and providing recommendations for future maintenance.
Ensuring all repairs and services meet high-quality standards, adhering to industry regulations and safety guidelines.
Maintaining inventory of necessary parts, tools, and equipment, and placing orders as needed.
Accurately documenting all service and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and relevant details for record-keeping purposes.
Following established protocols and service procedures while continually seeking ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
Proven experience as an RV Service Technician or a similar role in the automotive or recreational vehicle industry.
In-depth knowledge of RV systems, components, and their functionalities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, propane, and mechanical systems.
Possession of relevant certifications is highly desirable, such as RVIA/RVDA certification (Recreation Vehicle Industry Association/Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association) and ASE certifications related to automotive, medium/heavy-duty trucks, or buses.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.
Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment, work in varying weather conditions, and stand for extended periods.
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate diagnostics, repairs, and documentation.
A collaborative attitude and willingness to work in a team-based environment.

Certifications:
Manufacturer-specific certifications from reputable RV manufacturers (e.g., Winnebago, Forest River, Jayco, etc.).
Previous experience in a dealership or service center environment.
Familiarity with RV computerized systems and diagnostic tools.
