RouteSwitch Subject Matter Expert SME

We are looking for a talented and experienced Route/Switch Subject Matter Expert (SME) who possesses expertlevel knowledge of BGP and OSPF routing protocols.

The ideal candidate will hold a CCIE certification and will have a proven track record of designing implementing and troubleshooting complex routing and switching solutions.

Location: Remote Dallas TX (Remote with occasional travel onsite)

Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain complex routing and switching solutions for our clients.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Provide expertlevel support and troubleshooting for networkrelated issues.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement network infrastructure solutions.
• Conduct network assessments and make recommendations for improvements.
• Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to routing and switching.

Required Education Certification & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• CCIE certification is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and implementing routing and switching solutions.
• Expertlevel knowledge of BGP and OSPF routing protocols.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Experience with network automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
