As a Duty Manager you will take responsibility for achieving high standards throughout your areas while achieving growth in sales and managing your controllable costs. The Requirements for this Retail Grocery Duty Manager Job:

• Proven experience in a fastpaced management/senior supervisor position within a retail grocery convenience store or supermarket setting would be a distinct advantage.
  
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office as well as being proficient using EPOS systems to access financial data store sales analysing retail trends.
  
• Experience in cash management till management and cash office would be an advantage but not essential.
  
• A clear communicator confident in leading teams to achieve results motivate and inspire your teams to reach new heights in their careers.
  
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic.
  
• Familiar and comfortable operating with budgets KPIs and targets.
  
• Passion for grocery retail and working with the general public.
  

The Responsibilities for this Retail Grocery Duty Manager Job:

• Have an active role in the store by creating a warm and enjoyable customer experience.
  
• Work closely with the Assistant Manager to deliver on controllable targets such as maintaining tight control of the rosters waste productivity and other commercial targets like sales.
  
• Monitoring waste and ensuring maximum profit is reached.
  
• Implement planograms correctly and ensure the correct range is in place instore;
  
• Approachable and a role model who leads by example encourages teamwork and fosters a positive attitude and atmosphere in the workplace.
  
• Monitor and support employees in the store by giving regular feedback recognition and encouragement.
