We provide them with the required technical support and competitive financing to go from the initial rapid assessment of potential project areas to the first carbon credits issuance and beyond. Tasks

The Remote Sensing Analyst will report to the MLRS Lead in the Data Intelligence Team. This is a full time position.

Location: Indonesia

What are the main responsibilities of the role

• Design develop and implement remote sensing projects and methodologies to collect analyse and interpret spatial data.
• Develop implement and evaluate remote sensing algorithms and machine learning models for tasks such as land cover change detection and land use classification using radar optical sensors and highresolution imagery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate remote sensing data with other data sources and contribute to comprehensive analyses and model development.
• Develop and maintain documentation of code methods and results for transparency and reproducibility.
• Staying up to date with advancements in remote sensing technologies and methodologies and recommend improvements to data collection and analysis processes.

Requirements

What do we expect from you

• Masters degree in Remote Sensing Geography Environmental Scient and Geoinformatics or related field.
• Experience in remote sensing data analysis particularly in land cover change detection and classification using radar optical sensors (e.g. Landsat and Sentinel) and highresolution imagery.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques statistical analysis and their application in remote sensing.
• Knowledge of GIS softwares such as ArcGIS QGIS or Google Earth Engine and Geo database like
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as ScikitLearn Geopandas Rasterio and GDAL.
• Experience in working with cloudbased computing environments. E.g. GCP AWS.
• This position will be remote and requires excellent communication skills technical knowledge and a passion for the environment.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with deep learning libraries like PyTorch and TorchGeo and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch Lightning.
• Familiarity with working with LiDAR data.
• Familiarity with designing data annotation solutions and models validation processes.
