  • Job Purpose and Impact

    As Regional NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) Coordinator you will work in a regional team of 5 NIR specialists in the EMEA region to ensure the quality of NIR predictions across our internal NIR systems as well of our customer systems. You will work on continuous improvement efforts, facilitating NIR best practices, global alignment projects and provide support for a set of assigned businesses in Cargill Animal Nutrition and Health.

    This is a hybrid role (office/home) and can be based in any Cargill location in Norway, Poland, Netherland, France, Italy, Spain or Jordan.

    Key Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and maintain accurate records of the NIR database in accordance with lab analytics guidelines and standards.
  • Perform and prioritize installations, NIR data validations, and coordination of the requests, processes and documents.
  • Perform data verification and quality non-conformance tracking to ensure all processes run smoothly.
  • Support NIR sites with troubleshooting and expertise on instrument operation and maintenance, NIR software operation and data transfer practices.
  • Provide support on lab analytics quality programs, analyzing the data received from the analysis and building up reports from database to meet specified needs.
  • Work together with local stakeholders being lab managers, FSQR (Quality) leads, customers for an assigned set of locations in the EMEA region.
  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience with NIR Technology.
  • Fluent in English language.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Fully Conversant in Microsoft Office and Database Software Programs.
  • NIR Calibrations and Validation Process knowledge.
  • 5 Year Experience with NIR technology.
  • Educational background in Analytical Chemistry.
