Are you a passionate Quantity Surveyor looking to join an ambitious and thriving civils business We are working on an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic and familyrun business that is committed to upskilling and developing their talent
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of surveying functions from preparing and issuing tenders to cost tracking contract administration and payment management
Ideally you will have a minimum of two to three years experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the construction industry You will have a thorough understanding of project control systems construction contracts and effective cost planning
You should also be an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing with the ability to build relationships with clients subcontractors and colleagues
You will be based both in the office and on site
and DOE plus company car
Essential skills and experience include: A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role Strong networking skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple projects at once The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work for a company that values its employees and provides excellent opportunities for career development.
