POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quantity Surveyor conducts bidding award of proposed project payment processing and monitoring of the project from bidding to contract closeout. Other responsibilities involved are tabulation and evaluation of bids preparation of control estimates evaluation of change orders prior during construction and preparation of contract closure amendments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Pre Construction

  • Preparation of Control Estimates
  • Preparation of bid documents for Bidding
  • Evaluation of bids
  • Award Documentation

2. Construction

  • Evaluation and validation of Change Orders/Extra Work
  • Process contract billings for timely payment to contractor through approval in Sapphire Billing Management System

3. Post Construction

  • Preparation of Contract Closure amendment through Issuance of Certificate of Completion and final acceptance
  • Preparation of piece meal contracts

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering College Graduate
  • At least 1 year of work experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer
  • Willing to be assigned in Cebu.
