QA Engineer

QA Engineer skill set wish list:

Technical

1. Programming skills: Java Gherkin Javascript

2. Experience with Automation Testing and mobile testing using Postman Karate Selenium Webdrive Cucumber Rest Assured etc

3. Experience testing API layers microservices and applications utilizing web services.

4. Should be experienced in Kanban Waterfall Scrum and Lean methodologies

5. Perform Functional Testing Regression Smoke/Sanity and Integration testing.

6. Experience with issue tracking and project management tools such as JIRA

7. Ability to create clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

8. Understanding of version control systems like Git to collaborate with development teams effectively.

9. Experience in Performance Testing: Gatling Load Runner

10. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes with a solid understanding of different testing phases and approaches.

NonTechnical

1. Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with crossfunctional teams.

2. Articulate defects and bugs in an easily understandable manner

3. Active listening to understand requirements

4. Should have a collaborative approach to finding solutions

5. Should be able to perform multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

6. Must prioritize and plan workload to complete tasks on time

7. Should have good documentation and organizational skills

8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment

9. Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and products
