Greater Talent Group has an exciting opportunity for a QA Engineer Remote United States to join a dynamic and driven team at a Series B SaaS company.

This person will be motivated to mitigate risk and passionate about testing software to ensure the quality of our upcoming releases. You will thrive at this early stage company if you have a natural flair for problemsolving can balance priorities enjoy collaborative efforts and are excited about testing and scaling a disruptive SaaS product.
Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of the code quality through exploratory and automated testing for multiple software releases
  • Manage the creation updates and status of issues detected during test execution phases
  • Manage retesting updates and status of issues reported by our Engineering Product Sales and CS teams
  • Perform problemsolving and rootcause analysis and support corrective actions with detailed bug reports
  • Troubleshoot issues to explain the root cause and report back with detailed bug reports
  • Participate in daily standup calls with remote teams to support issues triage process and understand prioritization of work assignments
  • Ownership of QA documentation including but not limited to; test cases test plans and post release retrospectives
How you will stand out:
  • Although not a strict requirement candidates for this role will typically have 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Quality Assurance management tool experience required
  • Experience in building test plans performance testing and knowledge of QA testing best practices
  • Commitment to execution with high standards with an understanding of business impact
  • Strong organizational problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of related testing tools such as TestRail XRay Selenium or Jira
  • Proven track record of success in assuring high quality products are shipped on time in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence across various levels; must be able to diplomatically persuade others and effectively drive change
